Reviews of lots of very cool products!

Get this product here: Universal Smartphone Periscope Spy Lens by Lucky Star 14 LLC

I have a lot of fun experimenting with the camera on my Android smartphone, so I was really intrigued by the idea of a periscope lens to take photos around corners. The lens itself is very compact and lightweight – easy to fit in a pocket or take in any purse or other bag. When aligned properly with the camera lens on my Moto G, the mirrors in the periscope allow me to use the front facing camera to see (and take photos) around obstacles or around the corner of a wall, which is really pretty cool! There are no instructions included with the product, and it took me a few minutes to figure out the purpose of the included metal rings, in 3 slightly different sizes and shapes. These rings actually have a sticky adhesive backing on one side and are meant to adhere to a smartphone, fitting around the lens opening. Then the periscope lens magnetically is attracted to the side of the ring that faces outward, to allow the user to easily get the periscope lined up with the smartphone lens. This doesn’t really work well with the Otterbox case I have on my phone (and even if it did I really don’t want to permanently stick something on the outside of my phone), so if I want to use the periscope lens, I just have to hold it up. It’s a bit tricky to get aligned manually each time, but once it’s in the right spot, I can easily rotate it around to the desired angle and take stealthy photos to my heart’s desire!

I’m glad that I was able to order this as a promotional sample in order to evaluate and provide my honest review.
