My mom suffers from premature hearing loss, so I am very aware of hearing related issues and want to make sure I do everything I can to help protect my childrens’ ears.  If we take them to a loud music concert event, having ear protection is key.  In addition, my daughter is learning to play the drums.  Most of the time inside the house she uses drum brushes so it’s not too loud, but if she does need to practice with the real sticks, it gets loud for both her and my son.  These Snug Safe n Sound Kids Earmuffs are perfect for both of these situations.  I like that the inside of the headband portion is covered with a soft, cushioned lining, which makes them extra comfortable.  The ear covering portions also have a generous amount of cushioning.  The headband portion does not adjust, but the way that the earpieces rotate on the metal bracket allows them to fit a range of head sizes.  In fact, it fits my 4 and 7 year olds nicely and I can also wear them myself (I have a small to medium sized adult head)!  My kids love the way they look and feel and I can personally attest that they are quite comfortable and really do a great job of blocking out noises.  The way that the earpieces rotate also helps for traveling, since they flip all the way around to make the earmuffs very compact to fit into a backpack or suitcase.  The range of available colors is really nice, and can help to make them appealing to a kid who might not think it’s cool to wear earmuffs to protect their ears.   All the components are very sturdy – I’m sure these will last us for years until both our kids are big enough for an adult sized model.

I’m very glad that I was able to order this as a promotional sample in order to evaluate and provide my honest review.
